Botanic Garden Exhibitions
HYBYCOZO’s large-scale light and shadow sculptures have become a recurring feature of botanic garden shows across the United States. From a six-month, fifty-artwork exhibition at the Missouri Botanical Garden to permanent and rotating installations at Descanso Gardens and the Desert Botanical Garden, these botanical garden exhibitions pair the studio’s perforated steel and LED artworks with living landscapes — patterns of light falling through leaves, shadow moving with the sun, sculpture set against seasonal bloom.
Exhibitions
Missouri Botanical Garden — Patterns in Nature (2026). Fifty artworks across twenty-one locations in St. Louis, the studio’s largest exhibition to date.
Descanso Gardens — Enchanted Forest of Light (2016–ongoing). A recurring seasonal light exhibition set among the gardens’ oaks and camellias in La Cañada Flintridge, California.
Desert Botanical Garden (2024). Perforated steel and LED sculpture installed among the cacti and succulents of Papago Park, Phoenix, Arizona.
